My way or the Highway

Some of the reason we come to church is to meet with God.

Now God is not just going to get up with you any old way.

If you want to approach God you will do it HIS way.

 

 

HOW TO APPROACH GOD:

check out Exodus Chapter 3 In this chapter Moses approaches God at the burning bush

Now it was 40yrs ago Moses killed a man and run out of Egypt and here he is on the backside of the desert we would try to say he  was out of the will of God but he is actually right where God wants him.  

 

God wanted to use Moses and He wants to use you. When God calls where will you be.

 

JOB: notice right off in verse 1 we find Moses working, now he may not have been in the ministry but he had a job he was busy doing something.  You will never be called of God to do anything while laying on the couch watching Tv. Don't lie to me and say you were reading your bible only busy people read their bible.  So first thing you do to be used is work. If you can't find a job volunteer just keep busy.

 

FAITHFUL:  Out working by himself, did not need his daddy in law to tell him to tend the sheep he did it on his own.  Do people over you have to keep checking on you to make sure you are getting you work done.  For God to use you you have to be faithful.

 

WATCHED:  In verse 4 God saw Moses.  God is watching us all the time to see what we are doing maturing us preparing us.  If we understood how God can see us we would change some things in our lives you can try to hide those cigarettes and porn magazine and liquor or whatever thing you are into but God is watching every move you make.  you will never be used of God till you realize you can't hide anything form God.

 

MR. COOL:  In verse 2 Moses was shocked that something was happening on the mountain of God.  When God started doing something Moses didn't run or get scared.  Moses must have already been in contact with God.  If you are going to be used of God you better be studying your bible and praying.  You don't want to get to heaven and have to get somebody to introduce you because you hardly know who HE is.

 

HEARD:  In verse 4 God spoke to Moses and Moses heard God.  Moses didn't spend all day blabbering on the cell phone to his wife, he spent some quiet time alone so he could think.  If their is any chance the Lord will dial your number you will have to get off the phone and listen for His call.

 

ANSWERED:  Moses heard then he answered and properly.  Jesus is a great king and if you are to ever be used you will have to learn respect.  Your kids don't have respect because they watched you we must set a good example and be respectful.

 

OBEDIENT:  That's not a cuss word.  God told Moses to take off his shoes and he did.   You say you want God to use you but you don't want to do what He tells you.  duhhhh

 

HOLY GROUND:  That's not special coffee God has set you apart for Himself to love you and spend time with you just like any good daddy would do.  If you want to be used of the Lord you must live like it.  Be careful what you do and say, who you run with, and what you fill your mind with.

 

ALIVE:  In verse 6 God is forever who else lived with Abraham Isaac and Jacob then lives now for you too.

 

 

JESUS IS THE GREATEST AND THE BESTEST OF ALL SCOOCH UP TO HIM TODAY !!
