JESUS CHRIST is LORD
A
BIBLES DIARY
My
wife and I have a thrift store and many people bring their Bibles in to
get rid of them. What if one of those bibles had kept a diary of
its life what might it be like.
January:
Dear diary it has been a busy time for me. Several in the family
have decided to read me through this year. They have kept me busy
for the past couple weeks. But I have now been put away.
February:
Dear diary Clean up time. I was dusted yesterday and put in my
place. My owner did use me a few minutes last week. He had
been in an argument and was looking for a verse couldn't find it and
gave up.
March:
Dear diary I had a busy day this month. My owner was putin charge
of something and had to take me to church. I was very excited it
was the first time I got to go to church this year. It was Easter
Sunday.
April:
Dear diary grandpa visited. He held me for over an hour reading
First Corinthians thirteen. He thinks a lot more of me then he did
when he was younger.
May:
Dear diary I have some disgusting green stains I was used to press some
flowers in.
June:
Dear diary I feel like a scrapbook instead of a Bible one of the girls
got married so they stuffed me full of pictures.
July:
Dear diary I am depressed they are taking me with them on vacation if
its like last year I will spend the entire trip in the suitcase under
wet towels and dirty socks.
August:
Dear diary we got home from vacation everything is unpacked but I am
still in the suitcase.
September:
Dear diary back in my place again. Have company now 4 comic books
a readers digest and a dirty glass are sitting on me. I just wish I
got the attention they did.
October:
Dear diary I got shined up today one of the relatives is very sick and
the preacher will be coming over.
November:
Dear diary back in my old place, i was looked through today someone
needed some old papers. One of the kids asked if I was a scrapbook
everyone just laughed.
December:
Dear diary everyone's getting ready for Christmas, I don't expect much
attention this month.
The
LORD keeps a diary of your life will you be honored or shamed when it is
read for all to hear.
